We are blessed to have such a historic and beautiful building at St. John’s. One essential part of taking care of our worship space is maintenance and upkeep so it will remain in good repair for many years to come.
On Monday, October 9, an important re-mortaring project will begin — re-mortaring the roof caps to keep them secure, checking the integrity of the top of the tower, and repairing the chimney tower on the east side to stop water infiltration. The project is planned to last three weeks. Please note that there will be scaffolding set up and there may be some sidewalk closures to prevent people from walking underneath work areas.
