Five years ago, St. John’s partnered with Crocus Hill Preschool, which provides early childhood education for the children of about 50 area families. “Words cannot express our excitement at the opportunity to create a vibrant preschool in this space,” stated the staff. “We are looking forward to a long relationship with the parish.”
We graciously welcomed the entire Crocus Hill community (children, parents, and teachers) at St. John’s, and they have become an enthusiastic part of the neighborhood. They offer field trips in the community, hold an art show in our gym every spring, participate in annual food drive for Hallie Q. Brown, and connect with residents at The Willows of Ramsey Hill. They can often be seen walking along the sidewalks or playing at the Holly Tot Lot.
The school currently has enrollment openings for all ages 2 1/2 – 5. They offer preschool Monday-Friday, 9-11:30am, with extended care hours 8am-4pm. Members of St. John’s receive a 10% discount on tuition.
Crocus Hill Preschool’s goal is to create a stimulating environment that promotes intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. Their program provides a balanced combination of structured activities and free choice time. Contact director Kathy Hopkins at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a tour or ask questions.
