First Nations Kitchen (FNK) is a ministry of All Saints’ Episcopal Indian Mission in Minneapolis and has been serving traditional indigenous food in a welcoming environment every Sunday evening for nearly 10 years. Every week, FNK also distributes fresh produce both to dinner guests and to underserved people throughout the Twin Cities. Our Fields to Families ministry supplies them with produce purchased from our Farmers’ Market.
We will be volunteering at FNK on Sunday, July 22. Shifts we need to fill are:
- Help with food prep: 1:30-3:30pm
- Setup: 4-5pm
- Dinner service: 5-6:30pm
- Cleanup: 6:15-7:30pm
To sign up: contact Cynthia Bronson Sweigert.
Our Mustard Seed Offering on July 22 will benefit First Nations Kitchen. You can use the envelopes in the pews. If you don’t carry cash or won’t be in church that day, you can also give online or by text (select “Mustard Seed” as the fund).
