In this panel “Stateless, Stuck and Syrian: How an 8 Year Civil War Has Devastated a People – Lessons from a Refugee Camp,” Minnesotans Malia Remackel and Mohamad Khouli will speak about their unforgettable experiences volunteering with the Syrian American Medical Society in refugee camps at the Syrian/Lebanon border. They will tell the stories of Syrian refugees who experienced the horrors of war and are now stuck in limbo at the border. They will also talk about what we can do to help. Free of charge.
