Hearts to Homes Chili Bowl Cook-Off

Enter a crockpot of your best red, white, or vegetarian chili. Then we’ll all come together to eat and to vote on our favorites. First Nations Kitchen
Sunday, September 22 at All Saints Episcopal Indian Mission
Four times a year, we help this ministry serve indigenous food with a sense of welcome to all who come. Two shifts are available:
1:30-4pm, food prep and setup:
chopping vegetables, cooking, andup the dining room.
5-7:30pm, dinner and cleanup: serving food, sharing conversation with guests, and dishes.

This series examines how our beliefs about God are formed in the context of Christianity as it is enacted in Liturgy.
October: “Faithful Stewards of God’s Bounty”
Our four pledge campaign witnesses will discuss how Henri Nouwen’s book A Spirituality of Fundraising helped them connect their personal stories of faithful stewardship with the four Gospels appointed for the Sundays in October.
November: “Seeing, Noticing, and Welcoming Eucharistic Symbols in the Media”
This series will explore ways the symbols of Holy Eucharist unexpectedly appear in film, fine art, and television.
