In the Episcopal Church, we provide a safe and welcoming environment for all who participate in our worship, programs, ministries and any other church supported activities. We especially strive to maintain a safe place for children, youth and vulnerable adults with an awareness that everyone can be vulnerable at certain times.

Safeguarding God’s Children

Safeguarding God’s Children will be taught on Sunday, September 29 at 11:30am in the Fireside Room Saturday, October 12 at 9am in the Fireside Room. In the Episcopal Church, we provide a safe and welcoming environment for all who participate in our worship, programs, ministries and any other church supported activities. We especially strive to maintain a safe place for children, youth and vulnerable adults with an awareness that everyone can be vulnerable at certain times.

Safeguarding God’s Children Training is required for:
• Clergy & all paid employees
• Children & youth leaders, teachers, & volunteers
• Vestry members & all committee chairs
• Anyone doing home visits or giving car rides
• All key holders

If you fall into one or more of these roles and you have not taken Safe Church training in the past three years, then it’s time to sign up. Refreshments are provided – please let us know of any dietary restrictions.
