» Safe Church Training

In the Episcopal Church, we provide a safe and welcoming environment for all who participate in our worship, programs, ministries and any other church supported activities. We especially strive to maintain a safe place for children, youth and vulnerable adults with an awareness that everyone can be vulnerable at certain times.

Safeguarding God’s People

Safeguarding God’s People will be taught on Saturday, February 22 from 9am-12pm in the CYF Center.

Safeguarding God’s People Training is required for: 

  • Clergy & All paid employees
  • Vestry
  • Youth leaders, teachers & volunteers
  • Lay leaders
  • Ministry leaders
  • Volunteers involved with vulnerable adults
  • All key holders

Safeguarding God’s Children

Safeguarding God’s Children will be taught on Saturday, February 29 from 9am-12pm in the CYF Center with a possible second training opportunity in early March dependent on the number of RSVP’s.

Safeguarding God’s Children Training is required for:

  • Clergy & all paid employees
  • Children & youth leaders, teachers, & volunteers
  • Vestry members & all committee chairs
  • Anyone doing home visits or giving car rides
  • All key holders

If you fall into one or more of these roles and you have not taken Safe Church training in the past three years, then it’s time to sign up. Refreshments are provided – please let us know of any dietary restrictions.
