James Frazier has been the Director of Music and Organist at St. John’s since 2004. He was formerly the Director of Music for the Archdiocese of St. Paul  and Minneapolis and has served Episcopal churches in Connecticut, New Jersey and in Excelsior, MN. He holds an undergraduate degree in philosophy from St. Alphonsus College, a graduate degree in Music from the University of Hartford, and graduate degrees in theology from Mt. St. Alphonsus Seminary and the Divinity School at Yale University. He is the author of Maurice Duruflé: The Man and His Music (University of Rochester Press, 2007).
