Come to midweek services of Holy Eucharist with Healing Prayer and Anointing during Lent. Gather in the Library for casual conversation following the service. Please bring a lunch if you wish.

LENTEN CHOIR CONCERT

The Adult Choir with professional orchestra and guest soloists perform Bob Chilcott’s dramatic and mighty setting of the passion story according to St. John. Free admission and reception to follow.

BACH BIRTHDAY BASH

With the Twin Cities Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, St. John’s will participate in this event by hosting a variety of performers from around the cities in the sanctuary. Refreshments provided.

March faith forums focus on “The Bible and Lenten Spiritual Practices.” Come discuss “Witness” with Dr. Judy Stack. How do we speak in a way that challenges systems and powers in light of God’s kingdom and invites people into a deeper relationship with God?

LENTEN CONGREGATIONAL READ SPONSORED BY FAITH FORMATION

During Lent, we’ll read Beauty: The Invisible Embrace by John O’Donohue, who reveals how beauty’s invisible embrace invites us toward new heights of passion and creativity even in uncertain times of global conflict and crisis.

BASICS CLASSES

A series of five classes designed for people interested in becoming a member of St. John’s; any St. John’s member may attend any and all discussions of interest; and required for those preparing for a sacrament of Baptism, Confirmation, or Marriage.

Thank you St. John’s for Packing the Pews on Sunday, March 1! 982 lbs of food and $695 were donated so far. What an amazing outpouring of support for our neighbors at the Hallie Q. Brown Food Shelf! March is MN FoodShare month and food donations are always needed. Please drop donations in the marked bins in the CYF Center or the Narthex.
