PACK THE PEWS

Sunday, March 1

Every year, faith communities in Minnesota encourage members to “Pack the Pews” with food donations. Today, St. John’s Faith in Action ministry will hand out grocery bags with a list of needed food items. Bring the bag back on Sunday, March 1 with nonperishable food donations for our neighbors at the Hallie Q. Brown Food Shelf. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated—the Center’s purchasing power means each dollar goes further! (Make checks payable to “St. John the Evangelist” and write “Food Shelf” in the memo line). Together, we can “Pack the Pews” and help combat hunger in our community.
