PARISH PICNIC
SUNDAY, AUGUST 5 at 10am at Phalen Park Picnic Pavillion, 1600 Phalen Drive, St Paul
Join us at our annual church picnic with Holy Apostles for 10am worship and baptisms, followed by a cookout. Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on, a dessert or salad to feed 10-12 people, and sunscreen/bug spray.

HELP US PLAN FAITH FORMATION
The Faith Formation commission wants to know: what are your ideas, questions, concerns, yearnings, and curiosities about faith? Help them plan the Sunday Education Hour for 2018-19! Write your suggestions on the yellow Post-it notes at the back of the church.

Serve free indigenous meals to our neighbors. Help with food prep:  1:30-3:30pm; Setup: 4-5pm; Dinner service: 5-6:30pm; Cleanup: 6:15-7:30pm.

STITCH FOR KAYORO
MONDAY, JULY 23 from 5-9pm
at Ascension Church, 214 3rd St. N, Stillwater
When girls don’t have access to menstrual supplies, they are forced to miss school and even drop out. Reusable menstrual kits from Days for Girls (daysforgirls.org) empower girls to continue their education uninterrupted. We’re joining with stitchers from Ascension Church, to make kits for girls in Kayoro, Uganda. We need cutters, stitchers, and assemblers to work either at home or as a group. Our first meeting for instructions will be held at Ascension Church in the parish hall from
5-9. Light supper provided.

SCHOOL TOOLS
JULY 22-AUGUST 19
School Tools is a school supplies drive that serves local children from low-income and homeless families. The most-needed items are backpacks, 3-ring binders, calculators, facial tissue, but all donations of new supplies are welcome. Bring items to the marked bins at church.

NEW SMALL GROUP FOR YOUNG FAMILIES
