CHOIR REHEARSALS RESUME
Singing or ringing in a choir is a wonderful way to praise God! You are always welcome to try it out and make music with us.

“Holding Scripture Captive: Using & Misusing the Bible in Our Contemporary World”
Sundays through October 7 at 9am in the Fireside Room
Local scholars will offer resources for interpreting the Bible as it addresses topics in our contemporary world. Youth and adults are encouraged to attend. Next week’s speaker will be  Dr. Paula Cooey from Macalester College (Emerita) on the topic of Race Relations.

“Sharing Our Sacred Stories,” led by the Rev. Craig Lemming. Everyone who identifies as a young adult is encouraged to attend.

DEEPENING ROOTS SCRIPTURE STUDY
BEGINNING SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22
9am-noon at Holy Apostles, 2200 E Minnehaha
In this monthly Bible study (Sept-May), we will become astute readers and informed theologians. Cost is $200 up front or $24 per class.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR CHILDREN’S FAITH FORMATION ON SUNDAYS
This year, we will be holding our Children’s Faith Formation (Godly Play) hour at 9am, to allow our volunteers to attend worship. We need Storytellers and Greeters; if you have ever read a story, you can make a difference in the faith life of a child.

PANEL: “LESSONS FROM A SYRIAN REFUGEE CAMP”
