Huge Sale Moving to Hallie Q. Brown
At the February vestry meeting, after a discernment process with the Huge Sale committee and the wider community, it was voted to end the Huge Sale in its current form. Instead, we will extend this wonderful tradition into furthering our partnership with the Hallie Q. Brown Community Center, which has a community closet and an annual rummage sale, held this year on March 5-7 (see below for more information). They are excited to have everything we have already collected for the Huge Sale as well as your future donations. They also welcome volunteers who love organizing and presenting clothes and household goods to help with the sale. If you have a passion for the ministry of the Huge Sale, please consider helping Hallie Q. Brown make their annual sale a shining light in our neighborhood. We already partner with Hallie Q. Brown in our food shelf ministry and Fields to Families, and this is a wonderful opportunity to combine our efforts in ministry and further our partnership.
