Sunday, September 20: Godly Play returns for the program year at 9:45 am.
Sundays at 9 am: Farmers Market. The Sunday market continues and we still need help hosting through the remainder of September. Please go to http://tinyurl.com/farmers15 to sign up for a shift.
Monday, October 26: Violin Recital by Ray Shows in the Church. Artaria 1st violinist, Ray Shows, will be giving a free violin Recital at St. John’s at 7pm. He will be playing Beethoven violin Sonata No.6 in A major and Sergei Prokofiev violin Sonata No.1 in F minor and Erich Korngold’s transcription “Much ado about Nothing”. Lots of Russian influences in this program. His pianist will be John Jensen. All are invited.
Sunday, November 1: All Saints (Baptism Sunday). On All Saints Sunday, our 10 am worship will be a festive service with baptisms. If you are interested in getting baptized or having a child baptized, please contact the Reverend Jered Weber-Johnson at 651-228-1172 x11 to set up a time to meet.
Monday, November 2: All Souls Service.You are invited to join us in the Chancel at 7:00 pm for a Eucharist celebrating All Souls Day. All Souls Day is one day after All Saints Day and is a day of remembrance for friends and loved ones who have left for the heavenly abode. We will pray, light candles, and offer a requiem Eucharist. Friday, November 6: Artaria Chamber Music School Concert. The Artaria Chamber Music School willpresent a concert performed by their students at 7:00 pm in the church.
Sunday, November 8: Hearts to Homes Chili Cook Off. Save the date for H2H’s annual Chili Cook Off to support our families! Also, consider donating household supplies for our families. Donations can be brought to the church office.
Saturday, November 21: Cabaret. The 2nd Annual Cabaret to benefit Kayoro Clinic & St. John’s Youth Pilgrimage will be a fun evening of live entertainment, auctions, and great food. We’ve gotten some fabulous donations for the auction, and we’re still looking for more for our auctions and game prizes. These can span a cross-section of items, we’d love to include great life experiences.
