First Nations’ Kitchen (FNK) is a ministry of All Saints’ Episcopal Indian Mission in Minneapolis and has been serving healthy, organic, traditional indigenous food in a welcoming, family environment every Sunday evening since 2008.
Every week, First Nations Kitchen also rescues and distributes fresh, organic produce both to dinner guests and to underserved people throughout the Twin Cities. This summer St. John’s has been donating fresh produce to FNK through Holy Apostle’s Fields to Families program.
For our parish Thanksgiving service project, St. John’s volunteers will serve meals at First Nations’ Kitchen (located at 3044 Longfellow Ave. in Minneapolis) on Sunday, November 22. We serve in four shifts, none longer than 90 minutes.
