Paul's Letter to the Philippians

This month, we started a new faith formation offering for adults.
The last two gatherings to discuss the Epistle to the Philippians will take place Wednesday evenings on January 22 and 29 in the Undercroft. We will start with dinner at 5:30 pm and begin our conversations at 6:15 pm.
Paul’s brief letter to the Christians in the Greek city of Philippi is filled with profound spiritual insights as well as practical teachings for daily life. By looking at both the letter and the historical context in which it was written, we will see how Paul weaves together themes of humility, joy, and hope by focusing on the example of Jesus and by relating his own experiences. The letter helps us see how we can live lives that are meaningful and faithful.
To you intend to come to one or more of these sessions, please RSVP to Judy Stack-Nelson.
