Safe Church Training

Due to low enrollment in February, “Safeguarding God’s Children” has been rescheduled. It will be offered from 9am—noon on March 18. Refreshments will be served. RSVP to 651-228-1172, x10 or [email protected].
In the Episcopal Church, we provide a safe and welcoming environment for all who participate in our worship, programs, ministries and any other church supported activities. We especially strive to maintain a safe place for children, youth and vulnerable adults with an awareness that everyone can be vulnerable at certain times. Safe Church Training is required for
• Clergy & All paid employees
• Vestry
• Youth leaders, teachers & volunteers
• Lay leaders
• Ministry leaders
• Volunteers involved with vulnerable adults
• All key holders
If you fall into one or more of these roles and you have not taken Safe Church training in the past five years, then it’s time to sign up! (You can contact the church office to look up the date of your last training.)
We pride ourselves in being an open and welcoming community.  Safe Church training increases our awareness of this responsibility and further offers each person a safe environment to worship, learn and seek support.
