A school supplies drive for homeless and low-income school children.
St. John’s is taking part again in the St. Paul Area Council of Churches School Tools drive. If you see great deals on school supplies, you may want to pickup a few extra. We will begin collections on July 26, for 3 weeks. Look for the special School Tools containers in the office hallway and at coffee hour at the Farmers’ Market. Please drop off your donations in the special School Tools containers in the office hallway and at coffee hour at the Farmers’ Market by Sunday, August 16.
High priority supplies Backpacks, 3-ring binders, Calculators, Facial tissue
Other supplies needed Spiral notebooks, Composition notebooks, Pencils, Pens, Markers, Folders, School boxes, Erasers, Highlighters, Pencil sharpeners, Colored pencils, Rulers, Glue sticks & bottles, Loose-leaf paper, Scissors, Crayons, USB Flash Drives.
Checks may be made payable to Interfaith Action with “School Tools” in the memo line.
