Changes to Sunday Morning Worship:
Beginning on July 18 we will offer the following worship services on Sunday mornings:
8am, Holy Eucharist Rite II held indoors in the Church
10am, Holy Eucharist Rite II held indoors in the Church and simultaneously livestreamed on our YouTube channel
Our New Gathering Protocols:
Below are links to the simplified protocols for indoor liturgy and activities moving forward. In addition, we are relaxing all outdoor protocols, offering instead some simplified guidance for safely and inclusively engaging in worship and community in outdoor spaces.
Practicing “Holy Assent”:
In all of this, as we navigate this late stage of the pandemic, recognizing it is not yet over and that there are many who as yet cannot be or are not yet vaccinated, we want to practice “holy assent” when reconnecting.
Before you enter another person’s physical space, ask permission. Don’t assume everyone is yet comfortable hugging or shaking hands or being in close proximity. Try asking “I am fully vaccinated and if you’re comfortable, I’d love to shake hands (or high five, or hug).”
The Importance of Vaccinations:
At every step of our reopening, we continue to focus on radical inclusivity and caring for one another. To make our gatherings safe for ALL parishioners, including those who cannot receive the vaccine, all eligible parishioners will be encouraged to get vaccinated.
