At St. John’s, we are fortunate to have eight professional staff singers who serve as leaders within our choir. The combination of their musical skills, reliability, and spirit raises the quality of the music that we offer and contributes to creating a supportive and collaborative environment. We are featuring brief bios of our staff singers so our congregation can come to know even more about these wonderful leaders within our music ministry.
Originally from Oklahoma City and arriving by way of Portland, Oregon: Griffin LaVictoire has been a resident of Minneapolis and a staff singer for St. John the Evangelist since January of 2023. Since that time he has had the privilege of singing with groups like St. Mark’s Cathedral of Minneapolis, the Sonomento Opera Chorus and the Exultate Chamber Choir. In Portland he sang for years under the baton of the renowned Bruce Neswick for the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral Choir. He also has traveled with choruses to compete in the International Musical Eistefodd in Llangollen; and has sung in residence in St. Paul’s Cathedral, London.
