Kathy Brown sent us a wonderful reflection on her experience of the Pentecost Imaging and Imagining art installation. Inspired by her beautiful words, we invited several other parishioners to also participate in sharing their experiences of this spirit-filled day.

“I remembered to wear Red on Pentecost Sunday. I remembered to help set up the reception for the three newly baptized little ones and the beginning of Jered’s Sabbath. But I’d totally forgotten that I tried to help with making origami doves two weeks ago. So imagine my reaction as I walked into the sanctuary totally unaware of what was to greet me!”
“I do not know what my face looked like; but I can tell you my heart did a big leap and I breathed in a loud gasp at the sight of hundreds of handmade Origami Red Doves! My eye caught a woman’s smile as she nodded her head in complete agreement!! (She and her partner were visiting from Chicago!) I floated to the back of the sanctuary to get a program feeling so amazed and wondrous!!
