Faith Forum Series: Ignatian Scripture Meditations
Sundays beginning January 7 at 9am in the Fireside Room and on Zoom >>
We will engage Sunday’s Gospel passages using an Ignatian approach to encountering biblical texts: through a three-step process, we are guided to read the Gospel story with our senses in order to see, hear, touch, and maybe even taste and smell what’s happening in the texts and what those texts are calling us to do in the world. Led by Dr. Chris Vinsonhaler.
Beginning February 4, Sunday mornings at 11:30am in the Fireside Room and on Zoom
Find your way to greater connection! This six-week series covers the foundations of the Christian faith, the beliefs and practices distinctive to the Episcopal Church’s Anglican tradition, and what that all means for our life at Saint John’s. The series is great for both newcomers to the Episcopal faith and longtime parishioners looking to refresh their understanding of our tradition. They’re strongly recommended for anyone preparing for the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, or Matrimony. Contact Judy Stack with questions >>
