During COVID-19: (any temporary info goes here)
The St. John’s-Holy Apostles Farmers’ Market runs in the parking lot of St. John’s every Sunday morning, June through mid-October. This joint effort brings two to three farmers to sell fresh produce to the Summit Hill/Ramsey Hill neighborhood each summer. It is a great option to the large, busy farmers markets in the city.
Every week, volunteers are needed to greet visitors at the market, help the farmers, or to take produce to First Nations Kitchen. A sign-up site is active during the summer weeks.
The Fields to Families branch collects donations at the Market each and uses those funds and others from St. John’s to provide direct assistance to our hunger relief partners, such as First Nations Kitchen for their Sunday evening meal and food shelf giveaway, and Hallie Q. Brown Community Center weekly truck deliveries.
