Donate to Fight Local Hunger
Farmers’ Market
The St. John’s-Holy Apostles Farmers’ Market runs in the parking lot of St. John’s every Sunday morning starting at 9am, June through mid-October.
This joint effort brings farmers from the Hmong parish of Holy Apostles Episcopal Church to sell fresh produce to the Summit Hill/Ramsey Hill neighborhood each summer. It is a great alternative to the large, busy farmers markets in the city.
Volunteers Make it Happen
Every week, volunteers are needed to greet visitors at the market, help the farmers, or to take produce to First Nations Kitchen.
Please contact Barbara Lindeke to learn more and sign up.
Hunger Relief
The Fields to Families branch collects donations at the Market each week and uses those funds and others from St. John’s to provide direct assistance to our hunger relief partners, such as First Nations Kitchen for their Sunday evening meal and food shelf giveaway, and Hallie Q. Brown Community Center weekly truck deliveries.
Supporting the Farmer’s Market
In addition to volunteering your time, you can donate directly at the market or on our website here.
