Helping Students Start The Year Off Right

Each August, we take part in this drive collecting school supplies for students from low-income families and those experiencing homelessness. This drive is an easy way to join together with area faith communities and organizations to help children in our community who are affected by poverty.
In 2019, 23 faith communities, eight businesses, and dozens of individual donors collected more than $23,000 of school supplies to fill 550 backpacks!
