Please weigh in and help pack the Capitol.In partnership with our community allies, the North STAR Alliance (of which MIRAC is a member) is mobilizing major support TODAY for the STAR Act of 2026 (SF 4176), which will be heard in the MN Senate, Room 1200, on Tuesday, 3/17, at 12:30pm. This essential bill strengthens trust between communities and public institutions, ensuring schools, healthcare facilities, courts, and places of worship remain safe and accessible spaces for all Minnesotans.
How to Get Involved
1. Come to the Capitol. Join us to show a unified front!
When: March 17th, 2026
Where: Minnesota Senate Building, Capitol Complex
Time: 12:00 Room 1200 Minnesota Senate Bldg.
Goal: We are looking for an emailed letter from every partner, ally, and aligned organization in support of SF4176, inviting supporters from every partner organization to fill the room and will be inviting a number of individuals to testify.
2. Sign on as an Organizational Endorser Endorse the STAR Act Here
3. Share the Petition Sign the Individual Petition Here
4. Submit a Letter of Support in PDF format, no later than noon on MONDAY March 16th, addressed to Senator Tou Xiong and members of the State and Local Government Committee, emailed to [email protected]. Please use this format: DATE_Organization_SF4176_PRO
