As we continue to see more impact on the world’s climate from our actions, it can seem overwhelming to think how each of us can help to counter that impact.
The Creation Care Committee is sponsoring a talk by University of St. Thomas adjunct professor of chemistry Dr. Steven Jorissen titled “Tackling Carbon Emissions – Embracing the Power of Change.” Dr. Jorissen’s message is one of hope and empowerment: individuals can have an impact on the change that is needed, and what actions they can take to do that.
This presentation will be Wednesday, October 1 at 7pm in our Sanctuary. If you are not able to join in person, the talk will also be livestreamed on St. John’s YouTube channel.
