Where and When:
Sunday, March 29
1:30pm Gather at St. James AME Church (624 Central Ave W).  Bring your palms, but no signs.  They will provide signs with core messages related to love and caring for our neighbors.
2pm Leave from University and Dale to march to the Capitol
2:30-4:30pm Gathering on the Capitol lawn with sermons, singing, and activities for kids. You are encouraged to come to the gathering whether or not you are able to participate in the march! As it is a two-hour program, some individuals may want to bring a chair.

Why: Right now, some politicians are working hard to claim the language of Christianity while using it as a weapon for division, twisting our faith in order to justify cruelty, greed, and oppression. On Palm Sunday, Christians across the country will take public action to reclaim a faith rooted in love, compassion, and justice.

ISAIAH’s Twin Cities Palm Sunday Faith Action is the flagship action of 25 Palm Sunday actions planned across 14 states! (See all the gatherings at palmsunday2026.com). Together, we will build on the momentum created through our faithful action in January in response to Operation Metro Surge. For ourselves and the dignity of our neighbors, we are standing up and speaking out.

Questions? Trevor Sannes is working on logistics, carpooling, and looking to have a list of who is all planning to attend the march. Reach out to him with any questions.
