On World Recovery Sunday, a team of St. John’s members invite anyone in our parish, leaders of recovery groups that gather in our building, and members of sober houses in our neighborhood to this listening and information session as we begin developing a weekly Recovery Service at St. John’s.
As St. John’s welcomes, loves, and serves those who are recovering from addicitons, our community is a safe place of grace in which spiritual practices can sustain and nurture vital relationships with our Higher Power.
Come and listen to information about and offer your support of this budding liturgical and pastoral ministry. We will delve into why, what, how, who, and when our faith community and neighbors can partner in launching and sustaining St. John’s new Recovery Service. All are welcome!
