The Saint John’s Bible is the first completely handwritten and illuminated Bible to be commissioned by a Benedictine abbey since the invention of the printing press. On Saturday, November 15 from 10am-noon in the Church, Brad Neary, Director of The Saint John’s Bible Heritage Program, will join us to share the story of this remarkable and unique work of Scripture and sacred art. Neary will have one volume of the Heritage Edition – Gospels & Acts – available for attendees to experience (and yes, even turn the pages!).
