Sunday, March 29 | Palm Sunday Eucharist: 8am in the Church; 10am in the Church and on YouTube

Sunday, March 29 | ISAIAH Faith Action — Palm Procession to the Capitol: 1:30pm

Wednesday, April 1 | Tenebrae: 5:30pm in the Church

In The Book of Occasional Services, the service of Tenebrae is described as evoking “an extended meditation on, and a prelude to, the events in our Lord’s life between the Last Supper and the Resurrection.” Tenebrae (from the Latin meaning darkness or shadows), is a service prayed in darkness and flickering candlelight. Along with the chanting of verses from The Lamentations of Jeremiah, Tenebrae weaves its narrative out of psalms, readings, and the gradual extinguishing of candles. For many people Tenebrae powerfully witnesses to Christ in the tomb, the devastation of loss, and the restoration of hope.

Thursday, April 2 | Maundy Thursday Eucharist: 7pm in the Church and on YouTube

We will commemorate the Last Supper and Jesus’ new commandment to his disciples that “Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.” The liturgy includes an opportunity for parishioners to wash each other’s feet as Jesus washed his disciples’ feet. At the end of the service we’ll prepare for Good Friday by stripping all the linens and adornments off the altars, and reserving some of the consecrated Eucharist in the chapel.

Friday, April 3 | All Ages Triduum Service: 5pm in the Church

A short service for all ages to collectively participate in the Triduum Services (Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday) in a way designed to help our youngest members understand, learn, and feel included.

Friday, April 3 | Good Friday Eucharist: 7pm in the Church and on YouTube

We will commemorate Jesus’ crucifixion, suffering, and death. The service includes a Veneration of the Cross, during which you may choose to come forward and honor the wooden cross in whatever way feels right for you (such as kneeling before it, praying, hugging it, observing respectful silence, etc.) The service will also offer Eucharist from the reserved sacrament.

Saturday, April 4 | Holy Saturday Service: 10am on Zoom

A simple spoken service from the Book of Common Prayer to mark Holy Saturday.

Saturday, April 4 | The Great Vigil of Easter: 7pm in the Church and on YouTube

This service begins in darkness with the lighting of the new fire and the reading of our salvation history. Together we’ll celebrate the sacrament of baptism. Then we move as one body from darkness to light, ringing bells and singing as we rejoice and proclaim the risen Lord! A festive Easter reception will follow in the Fireside Room.

Sunday, April 5 | Easter Worship: 8am in the Church; 10am in the Church and on YouTube

Sunday, April 5 | Easter Egg Hunt and Light Brunch: 9am in the Gym
