It’s time for School Tools! Help students from low-income families start school with the tools for success!
Every year, St. John’s joins with other faith communities of Interfaith Action of Greater Saint Paul to collect new backpacks and school supplies for children in our community. This year the supplies will be distributed to kids through the American Indian Magnet School, CornerHouse Children’s Advocacy Center, Department of Indian Work, Emma Norton Services, Career Pathways, Project Home, and Project REACH.
Please bring NEW school supplies to the donation bins in the Kent Street lobby and the narthex (the entryway at the rear of the sanctuary) between August 2 and 16.
Supplies Needed:
- Backpacks
- 3-ring binders, loose-leaf paper
- Folders and notebooks
- Calculators
- Pencils, pens
- Markers, colored pencils, crayons
- Erasers, highlighters
- Pencil boxes and pencil sharpeners
- Glue sticks & bottles
- Scissors & rulers
