2026 Women’s Retreat — “Eucharistic Eating: From Soil to Sanctus”

Saturday, September 19, 8:30am-1pm

If a meal is at the center of our shared life with Jesus, how might all our encounters with food connect us to God and to one another? Holy Communion invites us to consider how grace, justice, and life abundant are woven into the act of receiving sustenance from Creation. We’ll reflect on the sacredness of growing, preparing, and enjoying what we eat — including the bread and wine at Christ’s Table — and we’ll learn about the ways that agriculture and food systems affirm or deny that sacredness.

Led by the Rev. Kerri Meyer, Priest-in-Charge of Good Courage Farm. Please bring a pastry to share; a light lunch will follow. RSVP to Sally Sand at [email protected] or by text at 651-587-1032 by September 14. The fee for the retreat is $25; this will go toward Rev. Kerri’s honorarium and the cost of the lunch.  Pay by cash or check (write “Women’s Group Retreat” on the memo line) at the retreat, or in advance at the church office.
