BEOWULF: MONSTERS AND MEN
Wednesday, October 23 – doors open at 5:30pm, performance 6-7pm
St. John’s own Chris Vinsonhaler, in collaboration with our Youth Group, brings the gift of the bard to Beowulf. Awarded a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, this performance presents a darkly comic critique of heroic violence.
A reception will follow. $10 suggested donation; all proceeds go toward the youth pilgrimage.
EAST METRO MISSION AREA (EMMA) GATHERING
Thursday, October 24 at 6pm on Zoom
All Episcopalians living and worshipping in the East Metro are invited and encouraged to attend! Mission area gatherings strengthen our familial ties and offer us the opportunity to celebrate the diverse church ecology we are blessed with here in Minnesota. At this gathering we’ll focus on reviewing the diocesan budget that will be voted on at diocesan Convention. If you’d like to be a part of how we, as a community, faithfully discern the best way to steward the resources God has given us, this is your opportunity to see the budget, ask questions, and offer feedback.
