Our first meeting in the fall will be September 17.  The plan is to read Death Comes for the Archbishop and The Myth of Normal in the fall, and Mother Emmanual and Grace Abounds in the spring.  We also agreed that if there is time in the spring, we will add Orbital by Samantha Harvey.

Death Comes for the Archbishop is 210 pages and The Myth of Normal is 497.  I think we can do the Willa Cather book in 2 sessions, but if you disagree, please let me know.  For those that want to get a jump start, the reading plan for Death Comes for the Archbishop is:

Sept. 17 - Books 1 - Book 4, and first chapter of Book 5  - 108 pages in the Classic edition.

October 1 - finish Book 5 and Books 6-9 - pages 109-210 in the Classic edition.

Best wishes for happy reading during the summer and we'll hope to see you back in the Fireside Room in the fall for more lively book conversations!
